Harmony Club Picnic
The 1810 Juliand House Bed & Breakfast
2 Juliand St., Greene, NY 13778 (see MAP)
Members of Harmony Club and friends are invited to celebrate our national heritage with a post Fourth of July picnic at the home of Claudia and Steve Kachmarik. There is no better way to celebrate our musical heritage than to share a meal and music with friends. Claudia will head this program titled: “Made in America.”
America’s music runs the gamut from the early church music of William Batchelder and the Negro spirituals to the Broadway stage and all points in between. There will be an electronic keyboard for a sing-a-long as well as providing accompaniment for singers and instrumentalists. As always, this program is open to everyone to participate so please let Claudia know your musical presentation.
Bring your picnic supper and lawn chairs. Drinks and dessert will be provided. The grounds open at 4:00 PM with supper at 5:00 PM. The musical program will begin around 6:30 PM. Let’s make this an old fashioned Sunday evening in the park sharing the music that is a large part of America’s rich heritage.
RSVP by July 1, 2017 to Claudia Kachmarik; phone (607) 242-1338 and email@example.com. There is plenty of off-street parking accessed from Route 206 (Washington St.). In the case of rain, the event will be moved to Wednesday, July 11th.
